bees! killer bees!

happy april fools, friends. today some people decided to play an april fools joke and post these fliers all over campus.

i know it doesn't seem like a big deal until you notice that the pranksters put the college president's number on the flier and realize the yours truly in facilities services answered a million phone calls about the bee invasion on campus. the president of the college called our office and lit some people on fire about the situation...his office took even more calls than we did. we all found it sorta funny but we had to distribute all of our available staff to remove these fliers from campus. i imagine the maintenance/custodial staff were really pissed because their regular duties had to be neglected for this special stuff making the rest of the week shape up to be quite busy.

good times in facilities services to be sure...but i'm getting the hang of the job thing & that is cause to celebrate! :)

*BONUS* there is an actual drawing of a 'killer bee' on the flier...and yet that did not tip people off to the hoax. it's quite funny. hehehe
